Fillings
Fillings for stuffed toys should be clean and free from any objects
or substances that can be hazardous for your child's health.
Foam toys like foam bath blocks may pose choking hazards if children
were to bite pieces from the toys. These toys are not recommended for
children below 3 years old.
Seams
Seams should be sewn securely. Check the end of the thread if
secured. If seams come apart, check if the filling is clean and free
from any hazardous objects. Resew the seams securely or dispose the toy
immediately.
Adornments
Adornments such as hair, noses, eyes, buttons, jewellry and other
accessories on stuffed toys are usually small. Check if these adornments
can be remove easily when buying one for your child.
