There are certain rules to follow in choosing a toy for your child.
Take a closer look at the toy.
Inspect the design if it looks well. Check for choking hazards. For
small children, make sure that the toy and its parts are in large size
and are suitable for them to play.
Check the edges of the toy, make sure that it doesn't have sharp points
because it might injure your child. If a sharp point is essential for
the toy to function, make sure you give your child proper supervision.
Check if the toy fits the developmental needs and skills of your child.
Toys for older children can be dangerous for younger ones.
Check the label. Look and follow the age recommendations indicated.
Follow the proper instructions on how to use the toy.
Make sure your child understands the importance of proper toy usage. Do
not rely on high prices, inspect the toy yourself and rely on your own
judgment.
