Liquids in Toys

Toys which contain a liquid may include rolling ball toys, bubble toys, necklaces, pens, paperweights, key chains and liquid timers. You should not buy a liquid toy that you suspect may contain a harmful substance such as a hazardous chemical, or is contaminated, as a child may suffer harm if they bite into or puncture the toy.

A responsible manufacturer will make sure labels on the toys or their packaging state that the liquid inside is not harmful. If such a label is not included, you should consider not buying the toy. Even if the liquid itself is harmless, it may contain other substances like glitter that can be harmful.
